What does ORBIQ do?
ORBIQ is an education-technology company based in Sheikh Zayed City, Egypt. We build AI products that adapt to the learner instead of asking the learner to adapt to them. We are building two: Swaya and MADA.
What is Swaya?
A robot friend for speech and social growth, for children in special education. On an iPad she greets the child by name, plays games, reads stories and practises speaking with them, in English and in native Arabic accents (Egyptian, Emirati, Kuwaiti and more). When the child says goodbye, she writes a report for the adults. More about Swaya.
What is MADA?
A study assistant for university students, in Arabic and English. It answers questions only from your own course material, with the page each answer came from, turns your timetable into a daily study plan, and makes you practise with quizzes and flashcards. More about MADA.
Can I use them today?
Not yet. Both products are under construction. Join the waitlist and we will email you when there is something to try.
Does Swaya diagnose a child, or replace a therapist?
No. Swaya is a research prototype. She has not been through clinical validation and is not a medical device. Her reports are for the adults who already know the child.
How do you handle children's data?
Anything a child does inside a product is handled inside that product, under its own privacy notice and with verified consent from a parent or guardian. This website does not collect children's data. See the privacy policy.
What will it cost?
Pricing is not set yet. People on the waitlist will hear when it is.
